About Me

Meet Dr. Alaina M. Puff

My name is Dr. Alaina Puff, and I am the founder of Flow State Coaching and Consulting. I have nearly ten years of experience working with children and their families in educational and mental health settings. My training as a school psychologist coupled with my own spiritual awakening has led me to you!

Admittedly, I only recently became aware of my own intuitive abilities. As I became more conscious, I couldn't help but notice that many of my child and adolescent clients were also highly intuitive. However, they weren't in my therapy office to harness those gifts, but rather to navigate mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic-stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

A unified theme that linked many of my clients was that they were not only highly perceptive/intuitive to their surroundings but were also experiencing a dysregulated nervous system. Or in other words, since they were not calm in their bodies, they were unable to tap into their intuitive gifts. Unfortunately, modern psychology does not acknowledge the potency associated with our intuition and instead relies on pathologization to better explain distress in clients. And that doesn't sit right with me. So, I created this company as a safe harbor for kids, adults, and families to explore their intuitive gifts for the strengths they are and to promote a more regulated existence in this lifetime!
